My customer requested I make memory Teddy Bears for her 17 grandchildren. It was quite an undertaking. She wanted 12 out of the wedding dress for the girls and 5 out of blue jeans for the boys. The wedding dress had yards and yards of material and lace that had to be taken apart, then the bear patterns had to be drawn, cut out and interfaced. The lace had 18 large motifs with pearls. I cut out the motifs to incorporate on the teddy bears. Once I completed sewing the 17 teddy bears I had to decide what to do with the lace. I put a lace motif on each of the white bears and made a tie for the blue jean ones. I then made lace capes out of the remaining lace for each of the white teddy bears. Thank God she loves them!
