The joy of making new things really makes me happy. Especially when I make them for other people, whether its memory bears out of fabric, recycled mink coats, memory quilts, I love it all. The joy it brings to my customers gives me great satisfaction and spurs me on to create more.
I have been doing tons of alterations since retiring which keeps me busy part of the time, but my main focus is on teddy bear making and rug hooking. I will sometimes get on a quilting spree also.
I made 2 new rug hooked stool covers that fit the stool my son made for me.
